For World Book Day we read the science fiction classic 'The Day of the Triffids' and thoroughly enjoyed it. The book is about how people survive against the triffid plants that can walk and sting. In the photograph we are about to run in terror from the triffid you can see lurking at the back of the class ('one we made earlier'). This week we have been filming mock news reports about the invasion of the triffids.
